Bill Stewart’s ouster at West Virginia was a sad thing, and it makes his death yesterday all the sadder, but I do think there is a great deal of positive to celebrate in the man’s life.
By all accounts, he was one of the good guys. An honest man. An optimistic man. I do believe he will be missed more than your average football coach, and it’s because of the way he lived his life … not for the silly football games he won.
