It’s time to take a closer look at the second episode of “The Book of Boba Fett.”
On the 101st episode of the WhoDatJedi podcast, your hosts — Aaron Svoboda (@Aaron_Svoboda), Alfredo Narvaez (@NOLA_Fredo) and David Gladow (@davegladow) — take a deeper dive into the second chapter of “The Book of Boba Fett,” the live action spinoff series to “The Mandalorian” on Disney+. Beyond addressing some of the deeper cuts on display, the crew spends a lot of time looking at the different perspectives fans have been getting in this series, specifically as it relates to the Tusken Raiders. If those characters are a proxy or extension of Indigenous peoples, it’s a fairly important step for Star Wars to offer a better look at their culture and to present them as well formed individuals. Also, how does all of this ultimately inform Boba’s character? Are we truly seeing him turn over a new leaf, or is the matter a little grayer than we might think?
